CODE OF CONDUCT [FACULTY]

Responsibility :

  • Teachers should handle the subjects assigned by the head of the department.
  • Teachers should complete the syllabus in time and should produce good results in the subjects handled by them, and are accountable for the same.
  • Assignment topics for each course are to be given to the students within a week of the beginning of the semester.
  • Teachers should maintain the decorum both inside and outside the classroom and set a good example to their students.
  • Conduct of a weekly test is mandatory for students and to improve their in class writing skills Punctuality and attendance
  • Teachers must report in time for their duties.
  • Teachers should sign the attendance register and record their biometric attendance while reporting for duty.
  • A grace time by 10 minutes is permitted.
  • Apart from academic workload every faculty should take part in accomplishing task relevant to inspection, seminar, guest lecture, and other non-academic, semi-academic activities.
  • No teacher should involve himself or herself in any form of political activity inside or outside the campus.
  • No teacher should involve himself\herself in any act of moral turpitude on his \her part which may cause impairment or bring discredit to the institution or management.
  • Teachers are barred from using cellphones while taking classes or conducting labs.
  • Teachers must always wear their identity badges while inside the college premises.
  • Every class teachers should communicate with student parents to apprise them of him or her awards academic performance, attendance, and discipline.
  • Faculty member should treat all the students equally, and in unbiased manner.
  • Faculty member should update their knowledge in their respective departments [branch] by presenting themselves to library and by making use of digital library.
  • Groupism among the faculties strictly prohibited on sight by the principal, it may invite termination of faculty members who are behind deliberate measure.
  • College commences from 9.00 and comes to climax at 5.00 pm, presence of students in the campus 9.00AM to 5.00PM is mandatory. Without a gate pass from the Principal, he/she will not allow to campus.
  • Use of mobile phones during working hours is strictly prohibited.
  • Recognized by Pharmacy Council of India, AICTE, Indian, Nursing Council, and Tamilnadu Nursing Council and Indian Association of Physiotherapist
  • Approved by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi.
  • CODE OF CONDUCT [STUDENTS]

    Responsibility :

  • College commences from 9.00 and comes to climax at 5.00 pm, presence of students in the campus 9.00 am to 5.00 pm is mandatory. Without a gate pass from the Principal, he/she will not allow to campus.
  • Use of mobile phones during working hours is strictly prohibited.
  • Student must adhere to the dress code of the institute.
  • Every student must carry his/her identity card while entering the campus and indentify himself with the help of the identity card whenever asked for.
  • No guests/visitors shall be allowed with the students in the class room/laboratories/library.
  • Students should not come to college by wearing casual chapels boys must wear black shoes and girls must wear black cut-shoes compulsorily.
  • Students must allow the institute neat and clean and also preserve and maintain the greeneries.
  • Eatables/beverages are not allowed inside the study areas including class room, laboratory, library, etc. Students should consume their food only in the eateries/places recommended.(girls/boys waiting rooms)
  • Use of cigarette, alcohol or any tobacco products and narcotic drugs or any kind of sedative hypnotics or relevant materials which can give euphoric effect is strictly prohibited and in the site of their use, the user will taken into legal proceedings.
  • Students must conserve electricity and water they must switch off lights and fans when they leave the class room and laboratory.
  • In case of medical emergency in the laboratory or class rooms the student must inform the faculty member or technical assistant without any hesitation and student should use their common sense to avail the use of first aid box.
  • Misuse or unauthorized use of the institute premises or items or properties including computer internet is strictly not allowed.
  • For major disciplinary violation, suspension/permanent expulsion from the institute will be the final action.
  • Ragging is strictly prohibited. The punishment may be any of the following.With holding scholarship or other privileges.
  • Debarring from representation in events.
  • With hold results.
  • Suspension or expulsion from the institute / hostel.
  • Overcrowding and hooting or making noise near lecture hall/laboratories or strictly prohibited which may invite severe punishment.
  • Student should take care of their materials brought into the premises till the closing hours of the institute. As CCTV camera footage is installed at lecture hall and laboratories student and faculty activities will be monitored for regularity.
  • Maintain of social relationship and preservation of friendly environment among student and faculty is mandatory. Relationship among the student should be exclusively academic and professional. In any circumstances, reputation and decorum of the institute should not be at stake.
